The topic of healthy breasts is almost non-existent, as it has been replaced by the topic of breast cancer and breast disease.
To focus on disease rather than health, wellness and prevention is one of societies greatest tragedies.
We can however turn this around. Even if you have breast disease, it does not have to be a life sentence. Understanding the concepts required to create healthy breasts are the same values underlying all natural approaches to health and wellness.

Sadly, we have been told otherwise.
We have been lead to believe by medical doctors, pharmaceutical companies and cancer societies that you just wait around until you have some sort of disease. At which point they have the choice to cut you, irradiate you and drug you all in the name of a cure.
Well, if you are like me, that only sounds like half of the solution. In addition to the medical options, there are others treatments that are extremely effective, and can work in conjunction with allopathic approaches. Working together you will find a much safer, more effective recovery; the primary goal being healthy breasts.
We all know the statistics of breast cancer, that 1 in 8 U.S. women (just under 12 percent) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
In my case, both my mom and my aunt fell into this statistical category.
Thankfully they both survived the disease, but according to modern medical wisdom I will be next, as my gene pool will ultimately let me down. I couldn't possibly have healthy breasts according to my medical doctors.
But, if you start to look a little deeper, you realize that statistically, 85 percent of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer.
Wait, so only 15 percent of woman have a genetic correlation with breast disease? So what is causing all this cancer?
Poor lifestyle choices. These include environmental factors, poor diets, lack of detoxification routines, limited exercise, hormonal issues, and psycho-spiritual challenges.
That means that for me, I have an 85 percent chance of out-running my faulty gene pool and having healthy breasts if I just change my lifestyle!
Knowing this I got right to work.
For years I have been giving lectures in my community on Healthy Breasts, and now if you follow me on this website or join me in one of my Breast Cancer Yoga Workshops, I would be happy to help you join the 85 percent category too!
Even the world leaders in cancer research (who are often funded by large pharmaceutical companies, and therefore may be biased toward promoting chemical 'cures') are beginning to deliver a similar message.
For Instance, the American Institute for Cancer Research and the World Cancer Research Fund (AICR/WCRF) concluded that cancer is preventable.
In their 670-page report, Food, Nutrition and the Prevention of Cancer: a Global Perspective, they stated that the chief causes of cancer were the use of tobacco and inappropriate diets.
Controversially, the report concluded that 30-40 percent of all cases of cancer are preventable by feasible and appropriate diets, physical activity and maintenance of appropriate body weight. On a global scale and at current rates, this means preventing three to four million cases of cancer every year.
